An Image Refresh
Things change fast! As a business, you’re likely growing and changing quickly to meet the demands of your market. Whether you’ve updated your equipment, added new employees, or expanded your facilities, your video and photo assets can begin looking dated after a few years.
For many of our clients, keeping up with websites and social media channels means that they use a fairly high volume of video and photos on a regular basis. So, not only is it important for their images to remain current, it’s also important that they have a good variety so they aren’t over-using those images in their marketing. To clarify, we absolutely believe in getting all the mileage you can out of each video and photo, but it’s important to strike a balance to keep things fresh for your audience.
what they wanted
Our client wanted to capture as much footage as possible of their operations in the field and at their location. The resulting video and photos are for content on their website and social media channels. Since we’re focusing on photography in this post, here are a few of the photos we delivered.
the logistics
We were with our client for multiple days to capture these images, as we had a few objectives for this shoot. Not only were we gathering video and photo assets for web and social use, but were were also shooting interviews and b-roll for a video. While we had weather to contend with (storms affected our outdoor shooting schedule), having multiple days for shooting allowed us to accomplish our main objective (the interviews and b-roll for the video) and also provide a variety of content to refresh their photo and video library. Everyone at Speedway Construction Products was wonderful to work with — they couldn’t have been more welcoming, kind, and accommodating! Below are a few behind-the-scenes images from our shoot.
